Grad Card

Hello, I had to come up with a quick graduation card so I instantly turned to the Cutie KaToodles Graduation Owl JPEG. Love how easy and fast this was to do. Of course I had to add a few accents with white gel pen and add a bit of color to the scroll.

For My Graduate

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a very Happy Mother's Day! I did even though I was snowed in under a foot of snow!

Today is my I-Team day over on the SVG Attic Blog. Well now it's time to think about graduation! Especially in my house, my daughter is graduating from High School. Her school colors are red and white and she is graduating with High honors which is where the gold(yellow) comes in. I used SVG Attic Hat's Off collection to put this together. Hope you enjoy!

This is the scroll card. I love the tear-apart to get the money out.

This Grad hat is just too cute! I had to put a gold tassel on it because my daughter's tassel will be gold. And after all those tests are done what else would you want but starbucks and chocolate.

This gift bag is amazing and pretty sure I will be making more for all my daughter's friends!

The tag is not included in the collection but there is one that is cute. I did color the owl myself, kinda proud of how it turned out.

Both of these cut outs (below) are part of the collection and I had to have something on the back of the bag!

And of course I have to show you a side view. I popped the star panel and 2015 to add dimension.

Happy Mother's Day Part 2

Hello, well here I am again like I promised with Part 2! This card is for my mother-in-law, or like we like to say in-love. If you can't guess she loves her margarita and so do I.

For this I used Kadoodle Bug Designs Birthday Margarita and just left the birthday stuff off.

Some info on National Scrapbooking Day:

Each year on the first Saturday in May, it is National Scrapbook Day.

Also known as National Scrapbooking Day, on this day thousands of people get together all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others.

Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.

As per Wikipedia: “Scrapbooking is a method for preserving personal and family history in the form of a scrapbook. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journaling. Scrapbooking is a widely practiced pastime in the United States.”

Scrapbooking is a hobby of preserving memories and at the same time it provides a strong social network.

”Scrappers”, as they are called, get together and scrapbook at each others homes, local scrapbook stores, scrapbooking conventions, retreat centers and have even gone on cruises. Together they share tips and ideas and enjoy the social outlet.

Scrapbookers are often referred to as "Paper Hoarders".
